Pivot Capital Partners was established in 2004 as a boutique
pan-African advisory group. The founders’ vision was to use
Pivot to bring together African professionals to create a
world-class advisory partner to tackle Africa’s challenges.
In 2006, the
CFS Group recognised that, by building on the
complementary strengths of Pivot, it could create the leading
independent financial services group in Africa. The
CFS Group
thus acquired the founders’ interests in Pivot and, under new
management, will now transform Pivot into
Africa’s
foremost independent merchant bank.
